If I'm not mistaken, there was a tweet (or at least a lot of negative feedback) on vahn's twitter about fixing this (making the black-hat take longer on team-mate's CPs). Rightfully so..
Also, I agree, it's crazy that people are so oblivious to the blatant flaws riddled throughout the multi-player game. Perhaps they were just trolling you though? Sounds like they were successful unfortunately.
